Welcome to today’s show!

In today’s episode, I outline 3 reasons why I love journaling (and why I think it’s the greatest recovery tool). And I’m taking a pause in April to focus on self-care and to even get a bit ahead with the podcast. In the meantime, you may want to catch up on episodes 1-88 or relisten to a few of your favorites.

WHAT WE’LL LEARN

  • Self Awareness. How Adina uses journaling in her own life, daily. How journaling helps one to become more aware of their behaviors by making the unconscious conscious. This can also help you reframe trauma.
  • Tracking your behaviors. Use the acronym SMART to track your progress in order to make clear goals vs. general goals
  • Imagining your Future Self. For most people identity is past centric. Journaling is very future oriented. Identity is what drives your behavior. Identify who you want to be and then design that life.
