Just over a year ago we started this tribute to Grunge and the Seattle scene. Through it all, it comes down to this. We have reached the No. 1 Record on Rolling Stones Greatest grunge albums of all time. Nirvana Nevermind. Thanks go to every guest who helped make this series what it is. A time capsule of one of music's most prominent movements. Not only do we dive deep into the record that set it all in motion, we look back on the last year and what it all means.

Nevermind is the second studio album by American rock band Nirvana, released on September 24, 1991 by DGC Records. Produced by Butch Vig, it was Nirvana's first release on the DGC label, as well as the first to feature drummer Dave Grohl. Nevermind features a more polished, radio-friendly sound than the band's prior work, and is therefore considered a significant departure from their debut album, Bleach.
