Listen in as Tyler and I re-explore the classic Claremont material, with Fariha reading it FOR THE FIRST TIME!

In this episode we read Marvel Team-Up (1972) #89, a Nightcrawler solo story by Claremont with just a dash of Spider-Man as we learn more about Kurt’s past in the circus and if he can keep his tail to himself.

Then, in (Uncanny) X-Men Annual 3, Claremont writes his first of many fairy-tale send-ups – that also happens to be a cautionary environmental tale and also full of some supple bottoms of the male team members as draw by George Perez.

Finally, in Classic X-Men (1986) #31, Professor X takes out his social class discomfort on a Shi’ar plumber while cosplaying as Captain Picard. Yes, it’s all as weird as that implies.

Also, Peter is full of anecdotes and Tyler tries to make us all cry about fish.

We mostly stay away from spoilers for House of X and Powers of X, though Fariha discusses one of the themes of the Dawn of X without spoiling anything specific.
