Dickey's Doing Good tells good stories about good people doing good things in the community. This is the first part of our interview with US Army Veteran and Dallas Police Department Sergeant Arturo Martinez.

Arturo was a Detective and Dallas Police Officer for 11 years before being promoted to Sergeant. He was one of the organizers for the first of its kind Blue for Black Lives Matter protest and march in Dallas, which was a unified effort of the Black Police Association and the National Latino Law Enforcement Organization. He is also one of DPD’s Latino Community Liaison Officers and UNIDOS Coordinator. This program provide assistance to the Spanish speaking residents in the Dallas area.
