Katarzyna Byrtek is a feminist, activist, podcaster, teacher and guide book writer. As if that is not enough then she also has an alter ego called Zorya Blue who is a very talented Burlesque dancer.
We discussed her journey, how she got into Burlesque dancing and how and if it fits with feminism. You will also be surprised to hear how much effort a Burlesque dancer puts into an act that takes just a few minutes (bathtubs as props!). She also talked about how the church controls her home country of Poland and the bizarre stuff that is going on with abortion law there which forces Polish women to seek medical help and procedures outside of their home country.
