A Fort Collins, Colorado native, Dr. Troxell is a proven innovative leader in the public, private and research sectors. He is the former mayor of Fort Collins, Colorado and on the faculty in engineering at Colorado State University. Additionally, he is the past Associate Dean for Research and Economic Development for the College of Engineering at Colorado State University and is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Dr. Troxell is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of intelligent robotics and intelligent control of distributed systems. He is the principal of Distributed Energy Futures LLC.
