On today’s show, we interview Ryan Crawford, VP, Client Services, Delvinia who shares with us his distilled wisdom on risk-taking, relationship-building, and leading a high-performance team. You will learn why you need to be bold and adventurous if you wish to level up professionally.

We start this show with Ryan sharing his backstory. Since 2004, Ryan has been a snowboard coach. In this role, Ryan learned some important lessons in accountability and responsibility – lessons set the tone for his incredibly successful corporate career.

His first “real job” was with Baxter International where he helmed the digital marketing strategy for the Canadian market. In this segment of the show, Ryan emphasizes the importance of treading into the unknown.

You will learn that while coming up with outside-the-box ideas is important – your ingenuity will amount to zilch if do not come up with an action plan and implement it.

In 2015, Ryan moved to Delvinia where he rapidly climbed the corporate ladder. Currently, he works as Vice President, Client’s Services for the group’s consultant arm, Methodify. From zero revenues in 2018, Methodify is a multi-million-dollar business with ambitions of going global.

Ryan talks about managing the scorching growth of his group in the wake of the pandemic. He talks about the challenges of leading people who are smarter, more experienced than you. We talk a great deal about the power of relationship-building in this segment of the show.
