In episode eighth and final episode of The Springfield Three, we look at Springfield now--nearly 30 years after the disappearance of Stacy, Suzie, and Sherrill, and I work to unpack how this has affected an entire community. These were three women, beloved by so many, that had so much in front of them. And there is a common narrative in this case. It kept coming up. In fact, I’d find that in almost every interview that I conducted, I’d hear the same thing. “Things Like This Just Don’t Happen In Springfield Missouri.” But it did--and here’s what’s happening now.
