This week on The 'Cut to the Race' podcast, Oli, Callum, Emma and Michael discuss the pretty uneventful Styrian Grand Prix. There were a few gems in there, despite the lack of action. The panel briefly talk about qualifying and give their opinion on Valterri Bottas being handed a penalty for his spin in the pit lane. Was it justified? Or just a bit harsh? Moving onto the race, the panel discuss the battle between Lando Norris and Sergio Perez, and whether the Mexican could have claimed the last podium spot under different circumstances. The tangle between Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly is also discussed, which leaves the panel wondering whether Leclerc deserved driver of the day? Emma describes Daniel Ricciardo's reliability issues, and Oli brings up Lewis Hamilton's moment which ended up with him nearly in the gravel. The panel deliver their verdicts by rating the race and their driver of the day, before moving on to a special interview with three women who all have something in common. Nikki, Haley and Sana are all huge motorsport fans and have applied for Formula Woman. Emma finds out more about their journey.
