Episode 82 welcomes Sir Ronald Cohen, often described as the father of Social Investment and British Venture Capital. This Oxford and Harvard educated entrepreneur returned to the UK as venture capital burst onto the scene, co-founding Apex Partners Worldwide LLP in 1972. By 2000 he was knighted and chosen to lead the Social Investment Task Force from 2000-2010, the first of its kind in the world based in the UK and the Social Impact Investment Task Force from 2013 to 2015. For nearly two decades, Sir Ronald’s initiatives have catalyzed a number of global efforts, driving private capital to serve social and environmental good so I want to help get his message across.
