Greenwashing in handicraft means promoting products that are way less sustainable or do not support local communities. The issue is a root cause for plastic pollution in villages as well as driving local communities away from their traditional art works.

Today, Kavya Saxena joins me to discuss this problem. She has worked with local communities on conservation and preservation of handicrafts.
