Needless to say I am very proud of myself for the title of this episode. It sums up the entire episode in one fell swoop. I can't stop with the axe references, but I can sense eyes are rolling back in your heads. This episode is a historical true crime from Thorndike Maine which involves a horrific axe murderer who seemed to care more for furniture than people. This story has it all: romance, jealousy, anonymous letters, a seriously dysfunctional family and ridiculously complicated execution. Maine never disappoints it's "The Way Life Should Be" but seriously folks axes are for chopping wood not heads.
