Palmolie: het zit in je chocopasta, in je pizza, in je tandpasta en in je benzinetank. Het zit overal. Een zegen voor onze planeet, beweert de palmolie-industrie: palmbomen zijn zo productief dat ze per hectare meer olie opleveren dan welke andere plant dan ook. Dat laatste is waar maar de andere kant van de medaille is ons heel zuur aan het opbreken: de palmolieplantages vernietigen veel kostbaar tropisch woud, een ramp voor het klimaat, en ook voor de plaatselijke mensen én dieren.
