On this week’s show we take a look at how Coronavirus has changed the way we shop, and ask will online shopping become the new normal? To discuss these issues and many more facing the retail sector, Louise is joined by special guest, retail expert Professor Gary Mortimer. Gary is Professor of Marketing and Consumer Behaviour in the Business School at Queensland University of Technology.

And we speak with independent Hobart retailer Todd Morrison from Destination Cellars, who had to very quickly shift the store's physical product tasting events to an online-only format as a result of social distancing restrictions. How do virtual tasting events actually work in an online format and are they successful?

All this plus the weekly retail news roundup.
