Sheena’s ancestry on both sides was a mystery until she became an adult. She always wondered where her ancestors came from and was frequently asked what nationality she was. As the journey to discover her ancestors’ stories has progressed, their fascinating stories have come to life. Those stories have also given her a sense of her place in the world and has helped her have the courage to create her own destiny, in honor of them.
