Welcome to another Q6 Extra. I'm Kevin Kim and today, we're talking about Sunday - two Sunady's to be specific: May 31 and June 7. I sat down with Spokane Police Sergeant Terry Preuninger at the Spokane County courthouse, where most of this past Sunday's peaceful protest took place. I wanted to understand what officers on the ground were going through, what they were seeing, and what we can all do as a community to make sure violence doesn't occur again.
We talked about May 31, including the peaceful protest, mentality of law enforcement throughout the day and night, and what led to the looting and riots that night.
