In our previous episode, we discussed The Panjwai and Boardwalk Podcasts' views on what led up to the chaotic Afghanistan evacuation and their perspective on the how and why of everything from accountability to strategic misfires. One thing we still wanted to know was if these last 20 years were a waste, or if there are glimmers of hope we can hold onto. However, this now begs the question on U.S. intervention in the first place. What are the ethics or obligations surrounding our nation’s foreign involvement? In this continued discussion with the amazing veterans behind both The Panjwai Podcast and The Boardwalk Podcast, we’ll branch off from focusing on Afghanistan and asking this bigger picture question.
