Surranna Sandy is the CEO of Skills for Change, a nonprofit organization that provides learning and training opportunities for immigrants and refugees. Surranna has an M.A. and B.A. in Leadership and Management, an M.B.A. and a diploma in Human Resources Management, and certificates in Nonprofit Management and Human Resources Management. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Global Development/Sustainability at Harvard University and a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration at The University of Western Ontario. She has 10 certifications in career coaching/management, career transition/development, resume writing and personal branding. Surranna was awarded the Government of Canada’s Canada 150 Outstanding Neighbour award, the 100 Accomplished Black Women Award, the 100 Black Women to watch in Canada and a Community Service Award. She is Board Chair of the Black HR Professionals of Canada.
