Dr Madeleine Adams, a cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist with a PhD from the University of Melbourne for her research into age-related macular degeneration, offers a cautionary message about always critically scrutinising data presented in papers and coming to your own conclusion as to whether the data supports the conclusions.
