Reverend Nelson Johnson has complained to the Greensboro Municipal Council about false accusations concerning an internal investigation involving former Greensboro Police Officer Robert Reyes. According to documents, an internal police investigation determined that Reverend Johnson provided confidential information to the local press. This investigatory conclusion was one of two major reasons to justify the termination of Robert Reyes. However, Reverend Johnson addressed the Greensboro Municipal Council and complained that he did not provide confidential information to the local press, and did not encourage anyone else to provide confidential information to the local press. Additionally, Reverend Johnson complained, no one conducting this internal investigation interviewed him about the allegations of providing confidential information to the local press. It should be noted, that prior to his termination Robert Reyes had complained of discrimination in the Greensboro North Carolina Police Department. On Thursday March 15, 2012, 6:00 PM eastern time, The Justice For All show will discuss this and other very important issues of discrimination in the Greensboro Police Department and some questionable, and perhaps unlawful, tactics of the Greensboro Police Department. We will invite Police Chief Ken Miller or his designee to join us in this much-needed discussion.
