Sara Lieto is a poet, an app developer, and all-around wonderful human. Selfishly, I wanted to interview Sara because I wanted to learn more about what she does - since we always interact at the gig in Boston but never seem to make the time to sit down and have a proper chat. So I reached out and here we are! Sara has a knack for the written word and does some great work spreading radical feminism wherever she goes. This brand of feminism creates a great foundation for her as she navigates a heavily male-dominated field. We dig into gender roles and expectations, as well as what writers got us into performing and writing poetry, and of course we talk about the gig! Hope you enjoy this one!
MUSIC NOTE:
- This week you got to hear tunes from the new Worriers album, “You or Someone You Know” which came out earlier this month through 6131 Records.
