Growing up my dad had a good job. But, unfortunately he would spend his paycheck on what he wanted and not what we needed. This meant that we spent a lot of time in our home without utilities. And we would have went without food if it wasn't for my mom's parents. If I can remember correctly my grandparents bought our groceries for about a 10-year period. From the age I was 5 years old, all the way until I was 15 years old. When I look back over my life, no matter how bad it was, I can remember the good times. I remember the times my grandfather would give me 5 dollars for a good report card and then my grandmother would give me another 5 dollars for the same report card. She would say, “don’t say anything to your grandfather about this. I would spend every Saturday with my grandparents growing up. And my grandfather would take our family out to lunch every time. My grandparents always made sure that myself and my siblings always had a gift for our birthdays and Christmas. Towards the end of her life my grandmother won woman of the year for all the great things she had done in her life. Like giving blood more frequently than allowed during World War II. Despite all the things my grandparents did during their lifetimes, I never heard them speak about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. But the Bible says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life (World English Bible). God standard is perfection but we are not perfect. So, He sent his son as a sacrifice for our sins. We never like to close our program without giving you the opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Would you pray with me? Say, Lord Jesus I repent of my sins, come into my heart, I make you my Savior and Lord. Friends, if you prayed that prayer, I believe you got Born Again. Keep God first place in your life. I believe He’s going to take you further than you ever dreamed. I hope you believed on Jesus today! Remember to Believe the Word, Speak the Word and Manifest the Promise.
