Alabama has been criticized for an easy schedule, but this weekend should be more difficult than the past two weeks, South Carolina.
South Carolina is better than Duke and New Mexico State, but it’s not doing enough on third downs, there’s no ball control – the Gamecocks are last among SEC teams so far in time of possession – and the secondary is getting hit by too many big plays.
Tua Tagovailoa is getting the ball out of his hands even quicker this season, his receivers are doing an even better job of taking short passes a long way, and the running game hasn’t even started to get Najee Harris and Brian Robinson rolling.
