Welcome back everyone!

TOPIC:

Throw Away Your Past/Your Old Story.

You may be confusing your past story with your current and future one. Too much attachment to our old story leads to victimhood, an unfulfilling life, and repeat scenarios. All of which is self inflicted and can be changed starting today!

In this episode you will learn:

  1. How to get rid of your old, past/bad story
  2. How to stop replaying it. You may not even know you replay it.
  3. How to create a new healthy story for yourself !
  4. Some examples of new rewritten stories

To allow something from your past to dictate your actions or beliefs (which affect your actions, which then affect your life) is senseless. This type of behavior makes you helpless, makes you feel like you are the victim to life's circumstances. People tell themselves all kinds of stories and live in them as if they are forever attached to it. There is a scientific reason for this; comfort. Many individuals tend to stay in the past and replay it over and over again and allow their beliefs and actions all to be shaped by it too because they want to stay in that victimhood mentality. Not that anyone purposely does this but subconsciously its the ego's way of allowing individuals to NOT do the work that is necessary to bring forth positive change in their lives.

An example would be of a man who has been divorced twice and now chalks up his life to staying single and just casually dating around because "he's no good in marriages." Or he blames women all together for his lack of interest in a healthy, adult relationship. This man is replaying his past story over and over again and allowing his beliefs to be shaped by his past, and worst, allowing his actions in the present, be shaped by the past. His romantic will never change until he rewrites a NEW story for himself by accepting his part in the past experiences and making conscious changes to himself and to his perception of women and love.

5 STEPS TO ELIMINATE YOUR PAST AND REWRITE A NEW STORY FOR YOURSELF:

  1. Right here, right now accept the FACT that your past is NOT your now and it is NOT your future. It's physically and scientifically impossible for your past to be now or in the future. It's gone. Accept it.
  2. Believe that you can and will a better now and an even better future. Believe that you deserve that goodness in your life. Believe that you deserve a new story
  3. Learn how and why you too were a part of the past bad story. You played a part in it too. Take accountability for that.
  4. Start again. Fresh.
  5. Go for it. Put pen to paper, plan, add a timeline and start
