He then reviews an NPR article by Anya Kamenetz, the author of The Art of Screen Time, that addresses the World Health Organization's vote in May 2019 to adopt the latest edition of its International Classification of Diseases, or ICD, to include an entry on "gaming disorder" as a behavioral addiction.
