Edie Shepherd, activist and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Organiser at the Victorian Trades Hall Council, talks to me about growing up as an Aboriginal kid in a predominantly white school system, racism, gender, sexuality and queerness, dating as a queer Indigenous millennial, politics, and using social media to connect young Indigenous people with their cultures. Phew! It’s a PACKED episode!

Edie is also chairing at panel for NAIDOC week 2019, at Victorian Trades Hall, called FIGHTING FOR BLACK ISSUES IN A WHITE DEMOCRACY.

Find out about her event at http://www.weareunion.org.au/black_issues_white_democracy.
