So both internal links, so when you have a link on a page on your website that points to a page another page on your website, or external links. That's a link that's pointing to another website.

So it's important to every now and again, check your website to see if there's any broken links.

If you have a WordPress website, there are plugins that will periodically check for broken links for you, and and give you a message to alert you to that.

So if you have broken links on your website, Google takes that as a signal of and neglected website.

So make sure that you don't have broken links, on your website.
