They're Mikmaq and identify as Two Spirit (a term used by indigenous folks who reject Western gender binaries) transgender, and they're an incredible artist and lovely soul, they live with chronic pain, and they were displaced from their home along with their partner Ian. For over a year, these two talented, unique, artistic queer folks have been living a nomadic life that's been very difficult to sustain, and only have a safe place to stay until December.
