Lawmakers are going after the "emperors of the online economy" in an ongoing antitrust battle that seeks to establish whether tech's Big 4 is unfairly stifling competition. The CEOs of Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, and Facebook were peppered with questions on Capitol Hill Wednesday, with politicians accusing the companies of engaging in anti-competitive behavior. With a combined market cap of about $5 trillion, the question is whether the four companies are becoming too powerful. We spoke with Alex Heath, Reporter at The Information, about what might result from the hearings, the parts of each company most vulnerable to a crackdown, and Facebook's planned investments into VC funds.
