Have you ever met someone who, because of trauma to the brain, suddenly couldn’t communicate? They had limited speech or none at all, sometimes struggling with comprehension of what is being said to them? Well, this is called dysphasia and it can happen to anyone but if we understand it then we can be more empathetic. Especially to people who lived a normal life before but were suddenly plunged into it this new reality.
