"You can set your mind to do it, or you can set your limits to fail" - Amy PidtIt's about time we make an IMPACT in the world. Homelessness, poverty, addictions and mental health conditions are incredibly prevalent in today's world with little to no access to necessary services or help of any kind, let alone basic needs such as food and shelter. But luckily we have genuine non-profit organizations such as The Humanity Project to bring to fruition what our world so desperately needs. This being said I'm incredibly proud and grateful for my latest guest Amy Pidt on the podcast to talk about how she stepped up to the plate and took the challenge of completing an ultra-marathon to raise money and awareness for a real issue that needs to be addressed! Amy is an incredibly dedicated woman and it radiates from her heart to others! Truly inspiring. On October 17th 2020 at 9am, Amy Pidt will run 50Km from The Humanity Project in Moncton to Aboiteau beach Cap-Pele to help raise money in support of The Humanity Project's new rehabilitation and reintegration retreat that will help people with both addiction and mental health supports where they can take the time they need to heal and find themselves again. To learn more about Amy's story check out this link. https://www.facebook.com/585488378206033/posts/3294407390647438/?extid=ZVmbOw6NPWQl8KP7&d=nIf you or your business would like to sponsor Amy on her run, then donations can be dropped off at the following locations during regular business hours.Maritime Hydraulic Repair Center - 270 Macnaughton Ave, MonctonGoodlife Fitness Center - 175 ivan rand drive E, MonctonThe Humanity Project - 449 St.George StreetOR Visithttps://thehumanityproject.ca/how-to-help/OR email transfer toAdministrator@TheHumanityProject.caMake the password "change" all lowercaseTo learn more about the rehabilitation and reintegration retreat, check out this link.https://www.facebook.com/585488378206033/posts/3288269427927901/?vh=e&extid=KbVT8oWgv1bAZWvw&d=nTo learn more about Amy's story check out this link. https://www.facebook.com/585488378206033/posts/3294407390647438/?extid=ZVmbOw6NPWQl8KP7&d=nFollow Best Interest on Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BestInterest.MeInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/bestinterest.meTwitter: https://twitter.com/BestInterest_meYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_NODjTkdp9Qj6zoIUgBO6g?view_as=subscriberMy Band's Facebook Page: https://facebook.com/ShortforarthurWhat Does it take to Be Happy?
