Student isn’t doing their homework and is at risk of failing out of class
Student repeatedly shows up late to class (or just doesn’t show up)
Employee keeps sending strongly worded emails and it’s affecting the team dynamic
Employee is always marked “Away” on Slack, or declines meetings repeatedly, or just doesn’t respond to anything
You’ve already given an employee feedback on two occasions about low performance that could lead to a PIP; their performance has not improved
Or if you’re particularly brave: Your manager berated you in front of your team yesterday and you would like to help them make future feedback more constructive
