1995 saw the dawn of the internet as we know it. There were FTP sites and web pages before that, but it was 1995 that saw the commercialization of the Internet and the beginning of the Internet age. We take a look back at those Wild West Days of computing and the first cable modems and the creation of Google and Winamp. It was an era before smart phones and the dawn of truly portable cell phones. While the previous decade had been a time for rapid changes in computers, this was the era of rapid change in communications.
