In spite of the fact that the Travis Scott Astroworld incident happened about a month ago, news coverage has not let up.
In fact until Thursday Dec. 2nd, streaming platform Hulu had released a mini documentary chronicling the events leading up to the mass casualty event in a title called Astroworld: A Concert From Hell.
In total, 9 people unfortunately lost their lives on the night of Friday November 5th, 2021 in Houston TX.
But in light of the extensive coverage the media are giving this incident, it seems like this one particular event has been shown in a super negative light and may deter would be festival goers to reconsider outdoor events such as this.
Is Travis Scott to blame for this entire incident? Or are there other factors at play?
And is this the beginning of the end for outdoor concerts/festivals?
