To celebrate my 60th birthday, I climbed Guadalupe Peak, the highest in the State of Texas, just under nine thousand feet. To celebrate her 60th birthday, my guest climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest on the continent of Africa, over 20 thousand feet. To say that she defies the expectations of old age is an understatement. Since turning 60, she has undertaken more adventurous travel and activities than she did before 60.
