Welcome Back to Episode 15 of hOur TyMe Is Now!!! This week we sit down with Ms. Harmony Malone to delve deeper into her latest project which pays homage to the Late Great Maya Angelou. Masters of Movement as told by we, us, them. Sponsored by, Triphammer Arts Inc. and performed at The Cherry Arts, Masters of Movement as told by we, us, them, is a 4 month virtual performance series. Conceived and choreographed by Megan Omohundro and Kathy Lucas, Masters of Movement…as told by we-us-them, features four local movement and acting professionals including Desmond Brown, Ms. Harmony Malone, Billie Alexandria and Megan Omohundro. By developing movement research of several iconic POC, the cast explores their connection to self through gestures and choreography and reveals the effects of intergenerational trauma. Each performance will follow with a question/answer forum via Zoom. Masters of Movement as told by we, us, them was filmed and edited by Shira Evergreen of Uplifted Ithaca. Performance dates: Dec. 4th & 5th Jan 8th & 9th Feb 5th & 6th March 5th & 6th Time: 7:30-8:30pm *Zoom link to be provided at a later date!
