Shelma Jun is a filmmaker, rock climber, outdoor advocate, and founder of Flash Foxy and the Flash Foxy Climbing Festival. In 2017, Shelma was named one of 40 women who’ve made the biggest impact in the outdoor world by Outside Magazine. In this episode, Shelma shares her root stories, navigating her Korean American identity in the outdoors, the barriers that exist for women and the gender queer community in rock climbing, Flash Foxy’s ever-evolving mission and vision, and so much more!
