Sweets, we made it to the end of 2021 better known as 2020, Part 2. The highs & the lows all of us have experienced have been a lot. And for each of us to still be here in this moment is an incredibly big deal. Just like each & every one of us have a journey, Cookies & Conversation Podcast does, too. What started off as the beginning of my brand's (The MonAlicia Bakes) expansion became a safe space for every listener, every guest, and me: your favorite baker & host.
When Cookies & Conversation Podcast came to life, I was battling a deep depression & preparing for what I didn't know would be an essential part of my healing journey. Season 1 began in January 2021 & was completely centered on our healing & embracing the power of vulnerability. As the seasons changed, so did I and so did the podcast. Season 2 began in July 2021 & spoke true to our growth, paying homage to where we were, where we are in the present day, and where we're going. Elevation, faith & commitment to yourself are the keys to get you exactly where you need to be.
I take pride in being a vessel of peace; and I'm humbled by the fact that all of my guests, listeners, and participants (of open discussions) feel safe with me. In addition to my gratitude, I dedicated the Season 2 finale to all of you. Thank you for being here & for always being authentic. Thank you for sharing the safe space that Cookies & Conversation Podcast has become with me.
