Welcome to another bonus episode!

So as we mentioned in Episode 17, we attended the maiden edition of the Africa Women's Sports Summit in May last year which was put together by an incredible Ghanaian sports journalist we respect, look up to, admire and have the pleasure of knowing, Juliet Bawuah. She gathered four other leading and experienced sports journalists on the continent as well as about 60 young women pursuing careers in sport (particularly sport journalism which was the focus of the edition) together to share stories of their journeys, learn from and motivate each other. The theme of the event was #TakeYourPlace.
In this soundbite, ace South African Sports Broadcaster, Carol Tshabalala a.k.a. The Queen of Sport, shares her story of how she got into the field, challenges she encountered, how she rose above them and what keeps her moving. Enjoy!
