Jourdan Bennett-Begaye is the new Editor-in-Chief at Indian Country Today. She started as reporter-producer in August 2018, became the Washington editor/bureau chief in August 2019, and the deputy managing editor in August 2020.

She received a master's degree from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University as part of the Newhouse Minorities Fellowship & interned with http://Syracuse.com / The Post-Standard while completing the magazine, newspaper & online Journalism program.
