We love her, you’ll love her! This week we’re back with actor, writer, and artist Lauren Weedman. You Might Know Her From Looking, Hung, The Daily Show, Date Night, Hacks, Arrested Development, Euphoria, and her many solo shows. We talked to Lauren about the process as she approaches every solo show and how she manages her personal relationships when they find themselves in her work. We also talked about trusting herself on the set of Looking and putting a pow on that series with the film, the anxiety of joining a machine like The Daily Show, and the true joys of her guest roles on Euphoria (as Jules therapist) and Hacks (as the mayor of Las Vegas). This one had us belly laughing while we were really digging into some real shit.
