Welcome back, beautiful hooomans! I'm excited and so so grateful to have my very dear friend, Jenny Hempen with us. Jenny Hempen is a trauma therapist based out of Pittsburgh PA. Prior to this position, she worked as a legal advocate for victims of sexual violence in Allegheny County. Outside of work, Jenny is a reader of good and bad fantasy novels, mushroom hunter, contra-dancer, caver, and life-long friend of Britt. This conversation, in true Taurus fashion (Jenny's a Taurus).. we talk about things like sovereign decisions around religion, ritual, her work as a trauma therapist, holding space for the duality of people, trauma informed space holding, accountability and so much more. I am soooo grateful for this human. Enjoy! Some links below for some things Jenny is involved in.
