In this episode, we are delighted to welcome Korvi Rakshand, a visionary who has dedicated his career to investing in the next generation in Bangladesh. Together, we discuss how he built JAAGO, how to ensure educational is accessible to those from underprivileged backgrounds, and how we can build a culture of volunteerism.
Korvi founded JAAGO Foundation in a small room with only 17 children back in 2007 with a dream of breaking the cycle of poverty through free, quality education for the most underprivileged young people in society. Korvi has expanded JAAGO over the years to now serve 3500 vulnerable children studying in 8 branches of JAAGO schools all over Bangladesh.
Hosted by Nizam Uddin, OBE, the Good Society Forum seeks to create a library of best practice, amplifying the voices of global change-makers and inspiring action wherever you are.
