A new housing development is coming to Victoria’s downtown, and it’s built around the concept of co-living, where tenants share a common kitchen and living area. With rent for a “pod” unit expected to be 30 percent less than a studio apartment, it’s being touted as an answer to Victoria’s affordability crisis. But does it solve the issue, or merely reveal a deeper problem? We speak with city councillor Ben Isitt.
