Episode 17 is a conversation with Dr. V. Raghunathan. In this episode, we spoke about his journey of becoming an author, academic, columnist, and CEO. He also shared his perspective about topics such as the importance of an MBA, how less talk and more action will help us grow as individuals, the art of reinventing oneself and the secret to networking with people.

Dr. V. Raghunathan is an academic, author, columnist, and hobbyist. He has a Ph.D. in Finance from IIM, Calcutta. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto, Canada. He is a former Professor of Finance, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; former President, ING Vysya Bank, Bangalore; former CEO, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation, India; and former Director, Schulich School of Business, India campus. He was also a Visiting Professor at SDA Bocconi where he taught behavioral Economics for nearly 25 years. He has served on various boards and committees of corporates, Ministry of Finance, SEBI, BSE, NSE et al. Dr. Raghunathan has been named one of the top 50 management thinkers in India and the Indian diaspora for three years in a row, starting in 2013. He is the co-author of Beyond the Call of Duty, as well as Duryodhana, Locks, Mahabharata & Mathematics, Ganesha on the Dashboard, The Corruption Conundrum And Other Paradoxes And Dilemmas, Don't Sprint The Marathon, including a national best-seller, Games Indians Play He is also a long-time columnist, most notably for The Economic Times, and has written over 500 papers and articles. He also writes a blog for The Times of India and formerly worked as a cartoonist for The Financial Express.
