This week we have Helen and Bianca talking about the celebration of ‘Australia Day’ in Australia. 2022 January 26th marks the 234th year since Captain Arthur Phillip first landed in Australia with the First Fleet of British ships. Although the day is celebrated by many in Australian society, it also signifies the start of indigenous peoples’ suffering, the erasion and assimilation of their culture and systematic racism lying in Australian society.
