As surgical educators have increased utilization of the virtual platform for education during this pandemic it is important to determine learner engagement with these learning events. In this podcast, medical student Nadia Bakir discusses the issues surrounding virtual learner engagement with Dr. Katharine Caldwell, MD, MSCI and Dr. Karen Dickinson, MBBS, BSc, MD, MEd, FRCS, including work developing an assessment tool on behalf of the ASE Committee for Education Technology.
