We have a special guest on this episode of the Semi-Americans Podcast…drum roll…Dr. Mark Spencer, MD. Mark joins us to discuss policing in the United States. This is one of our longer episodes but we honestly could have kept talking for longer (we definitely plan to have him on an episode again in the future). Mark provides great insight to the lack of accountability with policing and how the data does not support that policing provides public safety in the traditional sense we’ve been taught to believe. Our hope is that this information can encourage us all to find the means to better our communities through local efforts and supporting organizations/initiatives that push for the equality of marginalized populations.
