So many people in the world today claim to be the victims of racism when in reality maybe less than half were actually victims of racist encounters. My mother, Verna, shares some of the truly racist experiences she had endured throughout her youth. Experiences with white supremacists, racially motivated bullying, and a life changing lesson that helped her see the character over the skin color.
