The Line Bulls of the Pride of Duskwall are finally due to leave the Severosi city of Thorn. But forces conspire in hopes that they won't escape the consequences of their actions. Thorn is in chaos and Lord Strangford's ghostly infiltrator Crowl has revealed that the Minister of Preservation will wipe the slate of his involvement. And not only that, Crowl is free to kill Pippin and end the McKeel bloodline. Drix carries the team. Pip recovers from a rough day. Andrel totally calls it.
